I didn't bring a date to the party -- with (my SRL) family, I can't just bring a date that isn't someone meaningful, plus I think it's too scary/intimidating for most people. it's also a huge consideration for me to bring anyone to the shop because I can't babysit -- friends need to be able to navigate on their own a bit. Kyle (qDot) and his sweetie Kelly (behind him) were the perfect people to come as my guests, and they had a great time.
